Gore makes movie on climate change

Former vice president Al Gore features in a much discussed movie on climate change. I haven't seen it yet so if anyone can find a good link let me know. Here's a link to a discussion on Nature News.
Industrial Ecology is sometimes called "the Science of Sustainability". Although this might be too broad a definition, Industrial Ecology promotes a broad scientific solution to sustainability problems. This means that Industrial Ecologists tackle sustainability problems with a systems perspective using natural, social and technical science tools.

I will likely have to wait to see this when it is released on DVD - the theatre in our little town will probably not show it. Gore, however, is definitely back in the spotlight here! He was the cover story this month in Wired magazine, and here is a link to Grist magazine with an article/interview.

I'm in the U. S. and saw An Inconvenient Truth last night. It is a fantastic film. Gore presents the overwhelming evidence of global warming in a very public-friendly fashion, in particular the documentation of the melting glaciers. To all of the IE students and teachers, the information will be nothing new, but the message is still motivating. And disturbing. Luckily the film is receiving a lot of positive press here, and I hope that it will put some pressure on our government to support the Kyoto Protocol. Finally.
